Functions
- To consider all Planning Applications received for Sudbury.
- To monitor the review and advise the Council on any new development proposals and the Local Plan.
Due to the consultation deadlines for replying to Babergh District Council with its recommendations, the Planning and Development Committee has delegated powers. Any further comments from the full council meeting would still be advised to Babergh District Council.
A working forum to discuss Town Plan Development and the Local Plan would report back to the Planning and Development Committee, which would then report to full Council.
